Thanks for a good unit plan sketch, Jacky. Your rationale, assessment plan and project are great, and I appreciate your brief lesson plans for all the lessons, as well as more detailed lesson plans for the three highlighted lessons. I like the way you have incorporated Thinking Classroom sessions along with some expository sections -- this looks well balanced to me.
A few suggestions: (1) You say 'see warmup handout' in several places, but it is not included here -- but it should be! Similarly, it would be very helpful for you to include at least sample questions, diagrams/ nets and other materials to give a much clearer idea of what you plan to do in the lessons. There is enough material here that I will not require you to add these for completion of this course, but your SA and FA will definitely need to see your worksheets, handouts, and sample questions as part of your unit and lesson plans! (2) It's ok to have a few minutes of 'cool down' time at the end of some lessons, but 10-15 minutes of time for students to socialize is not OK... it takes up too much instructional time! I suggest you plan a mathematical game, puzzle or special activity for that time, so that it is a change of pace, but still aimed towards learning math.
